Cigarette Lighter Stuck

Anybody got any idea how to get the lighter out. It's stuck in (the heating position) and I can't get it out. Not hugely important, just that I'd like to use it for the Tom Tom occaisionally.

You can get a thin round end knife and push it under the bottom flange that's immediately under where the black stops and easi it up

Do as the other saym wit the knife, however have pliers to ply it out at the same time (dont grip too hard)

Tried that without the ign on....will give it a go before surgery !

Has the fuse blown?

If it has, replace it and then it should pop out.

I find that these get stuck down all the time..

They do yes.

I use a very small screwdriver to prise it out generally
