update 3 weeks on.....

about a week after I did it I had "ABC warning...." come up on the dash.

I have read about air getting into the system and not coming up until afew days later so I stopped the car, restarted it, raised and lowered it afew times, restarted it, and all was fine.

Since then ive had no problems at all so this could possibly be the cheapest ABC strut fix ever done...hopefully more people will open up to DIYing this themselves !!!!!

Another update... Took my car to get the SRS light reset at my local indy yesterday, a cable had split in the door hinge, sending a signal to the ECU that the drivers door airbag wasnt sending a reading, i just connected a new cable and it reset fine...

Anyway, I was taking to the guy and told him I had changed a strut... He said he would scan the suspension while he had it on the computer, it came up with no error messages and he performed a rodeo it for free.... Also said if the SRS light came on again he will scan it for free!
