Hi guys,

Hope someone here can assist... I've recently cracked my 20" alloy wheel on my cl500 (2010) ... 3rd crack in a year, same wheel. I've been using the space saver which came with the car whilst waiting for a new wheel to arrive. So, it's been on space saver now for 2 days running fine and then today an error light pops up 'run flat inoperative' & esp (skid marks symbol) pops up, engine light came on.
So we managed to pop on obd code reader and found the fault codes:
520a00 b64/1 brake vacuum sensor
511100 l6/2 right front speed sensor
511200 l6/2 right front speed sensor
727100 implausible values from rm sensor front axel

Btw...it was the front right wheel which was space saver.
Due to the numerous codes, we cleared the faults and today changed the alloy wheel for a new one...so driven half mile since reset. Once the new wheel was on, it was all fine driving around 15miles on and off motorway but has now come back on again with same error message on screen!

Is it something to do with change of wheel as it's had no faults like this before?

Please help...the error light is bright yellow and doing my nut in!!!

Did you reset everything after you put the new wheel on?

Hi Geoff, yes, all was reset but error still shows.

Reading up online shows it's possibly abs sensor?

Had the same twice, was a wheel speed sensor both times, not especially expensive.

It's going in Wednesday for a check but the speed sensor was showing on the obd but can't understand why it happened when it was driving with a space saver? No bumps or knocks prior to fault

I've had an abs fault light whilst using a space saver, although it wasn't on a Mercedes. Went after the wheel was replaced.

I assumed it was to do wth the differing rolling radius of the 2 wheels on the same axle (which was the rear).

Hi tonysmb,

Did you reset the computer or did the error message just disappear?
