Clarksons award on TV

missed it, but lewis to be on TG in a few weeks apparently

Justed watched it.

It did seem a bit awkward but well done JC.

He did look supprised though and not put on....

If only those dammed women had stopped screaming!!

When he’s presenting on Top Gear I can’t stand him most of the time, even considering it as a light entertainment program he’s still bl**dy annoying with his silly faces, stupid screams and (shock horror) his oh so controversial one liners ;) !!!

However, as a presenter of historical, scientific stories I find him total engaging and extremely entertaining and would happily watch these programs time and time again.

Top Gear is one of the few programs I Must Watch. It is great entertainment and never let the truth get in the way of a good laugh. But to be awarded for the Best FACTUAL Program is a bit of a liberty, unless the word fact should be read as entertaining? A great program that makes me laugh and congratulations to the Top Gear team.

I thought Jeremy was being disrespectful to Lewis as he kept interrupting. I was also surprised how tiny Lewis looked against Jeremy. - I wonder if Lewis would have thumped him if the size advantage had been reversed? Could have been the highlight of the evening.

Clarkson is 6'5"....most people look relatively small stood next to him.

He is simply entertaining as long as you don't read too much into it.

I just happen to agree with most of his anti PC anti green tree hugger stance.

I think you'll find that 90% of the population agree with his comments :) . He'd be alot more shocking if he actually said "I'm a veggie"!!

Love him or hate him, it demonstrates his versatility if he can do both extremes.

I enjoy some of his other stuff on TV (except that awful chat show), but I find his stuff difficult to read. Being a car nut, a Clarkson book is an easy Christmas gift, but they all remain on the bookshelf unthumbed.

hmm, I seem to be in the minority.

Unfortunately, in my opinion JC is an archetypal Little Englander who seems to think that xenophobia and homophobia are funny.

I don't.

I disagree,
He is definitely very anti the politically correct brigade and says what a huge audience agree's with, I hate all these modern 'obias' and I have a very broad sense of humour that will laugh at things that I think are funny and if that is being ebby-geebee-phobia then so be it, but two fingers to the politically correct police that try to tell me what I should find amusing.

Respect to your sense of humour and enjoy what you enjoy and don't watch what you don't like. Oh and don't watch QI  :)
