Classic Car Auctions CCA Autumn preview

Some nice metal there..........

Hi , the Italian car I never drove was the Alfasud. I had a Citroen 1220 GS that was the French incarnation of the sud.

There is actually one particular car that I remember everyone hated but was actually a fun little car and easy to drive. It's the Nissan Alfa Arna homologation, used to exchange hands for very little money and regularly seen on the ads section of Loot newspaper. It was most definitely a better car than say a Hyunda Stellar, which was essentially a Ford Cortina homologation that had a Mitsubishi 3 valve engine at the front with everything else from a Cortina I.e. suspension, exhaust, brakes. Surprisingly there was a chap, believe his name was Fenwich, who decided to drop a SD1 V8 lump 🙂
