Hi folks, my SL's headlights have a deposit of something on the inside. It isn't moisture; I suspect it's the result of someone using cheap bulbs in the past, and something's burned off. There's also a dead fly in the o/s light! It looks unsightly and no doubt adversely affects the light output of the headlight bulbs.
I'm wondering if there's some way I can gain access to the inside of the light housings. Maybe take out the bulbs? I can't seem to find out how to do this, but I guess it's self-explanatory? I read somewhere that it's possible to split the lights but it sounded a bit dodgy to me. I really don't want to lash out on a new pair of lights so any help and advice will be gratefully received.
