CLK 2.2CDI 08 reg start problem

Hey,

Got start problem on my clk 2.2CDI 08 reg this morning. It was all ok before but once weather is cold (-2 or 0) I cannot start engine straight away, need to wait couple seconds. Once it starts white smoke comes from exhaust, wondering if it's glow plugs?

So you mean that the glow plug light stays longer on, or you have to crank it a few times? I also get some white smoke (more like steam) only under 0 celsius, but that is normal if it goes away in a few minutes.
