clk 230 convertible roofs

Hi and good morning.
Is there anyone who could tell me how to repair a convertible roof, ie my
roof would not go up so I had to manually put it up but on doing so the roof
only partly latched and in doing so it has disabled the boot from opening on
the switch or by the key.
I can only think of breaking the lock and replacing it with a new one which I do
not want to do.
Would be greatful of any advice

Have you looked in the manual on how to operate the roof manually?
