CLK 320 w208 boot release works for a time after battery disconnected . . .

Hello all,

I've been working on our CLK 320 to get it through its MOT.
Whilst working on other issues I've reconnected the battery and
the key fob and console switches started working again. But after a few days I'm back to
opening boot through the medi pack space on parcel shelf....

Anyone have any pointers on this~?

Much appreciated.

(I've had previous issues with boot lock (including lock barrel being seized).
