I am having problems with random activation of the alarm on my 2004 W209 CLK cab. It has been on a Star machine and it appears that the internal motion sensors have been activated.
Looking through other threads on this forum, it appears that the motion sensor is microwave based and is located in the centre console...it has also been suggested that coins or other metal objects stored in the consol can trigger the alarm.
1. Where is location of the motion sensor in a Cab
2. Can coins or other metal objects close to the sensor trigger the alarm
Any info much appreciated.
