CLK Cabriolet remote operation

Hi Guys

Just bought a 2008 CLK Cabriolet Avantgarde (C200)

The soft top does not respond via the remote fob!

Anyone know if this is a standard option on CLK Cab & how do I tell if I have it if its operation is faulty ? (not working)

Well mines a lowly 2003 but mine works. You have to point the key at the drivers door handle and keep it held. A few seconds later it all starts to happen (either opens if it's closed or closes if it's open) but you do have to keep the lock/unlock button pressed the whole time it's in operation or it'll stop again.

So - assume car is closed and roof is up - press the unlock once and release then press it again whilst pointing at the door handle and keep it pressed. After 5 seconds, if it's not started I guess you have a problem.
