CLK cupholders & ipod connections

New CLK owner [ 2004 avant-garde 270 cdi ]. Noticed photo of member's car has cupholder in ash tray, obviously retro-fitted? any idea where i can get one please?
Also, don't have comand [ seems best option! ] but would like to connect iPod but heard some bad things about messing with MB electronics. Help anyone?

The original MB cup holder fits in the slide out tray next to the glovebox.
It can be fitted with a few hours labour and some bleeding knuckles.

The older CLK (208 chassis) had the cup holder down by the gear selector.

Yes, mine's the slide out tray. will it have to be a dealership purchase would you know?

They are probably very cheap from the dealer. I managed to pick mine up for free so i never enquired about the price, but i'm sure they won't be much.
