Serioulsy, have you got an inferior complex about driving/constructing *'fake' cars?...Because it sure does seem like it...

* Now referring to your cars as Fakes instead of replicas or wannabe's for fear of offending, seeing as that is what you and Nick noted in your long conversation last night, that Porsche has been making fakes for years and that most on here drive them....

Just on about your knowledge and attention to detail, as you keep refering to knowing all about my Porsche`s, just wonder what how why etc ?? it would be constructive to hear ? I am looking at doing more and strive to create better cars, all you feedback is good for me , please say ?

I don`t feel inferior , that is unless someone can make my work look childlike and rubbish by doing one better, you simply don`t get much about the replica scene, good chance you have seen many n not even known .

Comment on the SL Black when I finish it please , there again you will know it is before hand , so it will be obvious I guess,

dee, on one of the photos of the rep/fake/dtm/clk/merc/ whatever from the ebay ad, there is a porsche.

someone on one of these two threads, said it was a fake...

paul did do a re bodied porsche cab, using gen parts, and in truth that car was then the same as a factory super sport.

paul had nothing to do with my comment; 'if you really think about it, lots of people add to there cars, be it amg wheels, or brabus spoilers or what ever', and without and malice, i noted that' those cars could be construed as fakes'.

i also stated that porsche have a history of supplying cars that look top of the range, but arnt, and make a lot of money out of it,with not many people calling them what they are, which is in effect, fakes.

Nick, all I can say is that the 911 in the ebay ad is the only one Iv seen and it wasnt me who said on one of these two threads that it was a fake... I mean I even welcomed Marino to the forum for heavens sake.... and complimented the Porsche!

Maybe he needs to address some of his frustration to the guy who did, if this is what rattled his cage... but all that seems to be coming from his direction is aggression, defensiveness and how great a builder he is.....

He should take the advice offered to him from the other thread and chill out...

to the best of my knowledge I am the only one who as , using all Porsche parts, so it was not a replica really in a way , simply a re body conversion, same as Porsche did on the Super Sport , Turbo body everything but not a Turbo Engine, they were classed as car`s not replicas so there is no real difference in what I did to that car

Mate this is how delusional you are, you are now comparing your handy work to Porsche, who happen to be amongst the finest car makers in the world...!

Just because you are using genuine Porsche parts doesnt make your car the genuine article or a re-body if you like... its a rep.

When Porsche do it, its the real deal, when you do it, it a replica... thats the difference. Sorry

Iv got a humble E220 cabriolet that Iv added a genuine AMG kit too, in the end of the day its now an E220 Cabriolet with an AMG kit not a E36 AMG!..

if any one can see the differences please say what they are? and what the car was? OR IS IT A REAL ONE ??
looks exactly like the 911 that raced on salt flats SUNDAY TOP GEAR , So what makes some armchair expert say its a carrera 4 S ? as you are so very wrong !! ...lol

It's listed on the DVLA database as a Carrera 4 S. You may want to call them to fix their data if it is wrong

my posts are not exactly directed at you, its just refering to my 911 as fake is somthing I wanted to ask what made you think that?
the number was on my previous Porsche also,

I aim at more the Humble man like yourself, make something ordinary have a great look, not trying to prentend anything, if I did not use badges would that make it better ?

Sorry don`t be offended I`m not, When I do the SL Black perhaps someone with say an 03 SL may fancy a 2011 upgrade look on a mint older car, so they may look at what I will have done, shame if they were put off by the fake comments, I consider it a face lift, many manfacturers do it , Merc BMW AUDI n more, basically what I do , I`m not paranoid upset etc , just having a different point of view should not make me strange ? its a chat forum on Mercs, I would like to get back on point , Nick will let you know about the DTM later I hope , take his word not mine, all show n no go aint his thing so will be interesting I hope ,
