Hello all,
I have a 2001 CKL 230K (93K miles) and the engine warning light has come on for the second time. The same fault happened a year ago and was diagnosed by the AA man as "P0420 catalyst system eficiency below threshold (Bank1)". He cancelled the code (saving me £65! at a garage) and I continued motoring rather than have the fault sorted as no difference was apparant in performance.
Anyway, it's happened again and the AA man diagnosed it as the same fault code. Any suggestions that I can try to remove this annoying amber light?
(I think it may be related to an oxygen sensor????...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated).
Thanks:
