CLK headrest issue or not ?

Hello

I just bought a CLK270 CDi which is really nice to drive. Its has got electric seat which you might already know controlled by mini buttons on side of the door below internal door handle. It all works good. Seat goes up/down forward back. However, headrest only goes little up/down. But when I push the seat forward to get to back seats, headrest goes down completely.

Now my question is, is it like that on all CLK's or is mine playing up ?

or in other words, should I be panicking now or should I be cool ?

It may need normalizing. A dealer can do it for you.

to normalize the seat,operate the button to move the seat all the way backwards and hold the button on for about 5 seconds after the seat stops moving,then move the seat all the way forwards and hold the button on for another 5 seconds,this should normalize the seat.the headrest will go down when you tilt the seat forward,this is because the headrest may catch the headling depending on the position of the seat height etc.
