clk w208 aircon

Hi. Along with all the other weird electrical faults in this car the heater fan in the clk 230k seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes it works OK, other times you have to put it on max and wait for it to decide to work. Seems quite noisy at times as well, like it's trying to blow out of vents that aren't open. Need to regas the air con but no point if the fan is playing up. The wife drove it to town the other day, no fan, windows decided not to work, 28 degrees outside, when she got home she looked like she had been driving a sauna! Any ideas anyone? It's a 2002 w208.

I'm interested in this thread as I have exactly the same problem with the same car. I'm going to pull out the blower today and look at the brushes as well as check all the electrical connections.

Let me know how you get on please. I love the car and can live with the rust but it would be nice if everything on the car worked as it should.

pulled the blower today and checked all was fine, did find some loose connections on the regulator though that is at the side of it, cleaned these up and so far so good, been out in the car all day and it's been perfect Will keep you updated on progress.
