Hi my 2001 CLK 230 K has developed a problem - the ESP and Cruise Control do not work when the car Radio or Headlights are on - works fine during day when no stereo on. There are no error codes from any systems and the Limiter works all the time. Changed my car battery for a new one today and checked all the wiring at the back of the stereo.
Totally perplexed anyone any ideas?

I changed the battery on mine yesterday as the old one was completely dead. When I reconnected the new battery, my ESP amber warning light stayed on. I took the car to a local MB specialist and the fix was really easy. All you need to do is turn the steering to full lock both ways. Turn full left then right. This re calibrates the system and the light should go off.

Thanks muff already tried that as it is stated in the owners manual - did however fix my problem - It turned out to be the LED Stop/tail bulbs - although they still functioned and had done for past 18 months there must have been an errorr as with standard bulbs everything works.
Many thanks for reply. Colin
