CLK320 spark plug gap

I have a CLK320 (MY2000 208 cab). I have bought Bosch platinum plugs ( FR8DPP33) which say on the packet that they are gapped to 1mm. In fact, the gap is somewhat larger (about 1.2mm, but varies a bit).
Can someone tell me what the correct gap for this engine is?

That gap is huge!

My 500E were all gapped at 0.35mm.

Between 0.8 and 1mm should be ok. I may be wrong though.

Plug gap is 32 thou or 0.8mm
