CLS350 CDI 7G gearbox

I'm booked into the dealers tomorrow to rectify a blown 3rd brake light and investigate poor gear changes.
For some time I've been intermittently experiencing thudding gear changes when setting off from standstill. It's worse when the car warms up and is still present after the B service, where I had the transmission fluid changed.
Here's hoping they don't NFF it.

Sorry to hear of your gearbox problems. I gather that the problems have been with you both before and after the ATF change. The first thing that struck me was an ATF level discrepancy as level/temperature is fairly critical.
Here's hoping that a straight forward (inexpensive) solution is identified tomorrow.

Thanks Lim,
I have tier 1 warranty so happy to leave it with them. Just want it fixing as it's ruining the driving experience.

First chance I've had to drive the car since it returning from its MB Dealer visit on Tuesday. Gearbox software was updated FOC and despite my scepticism it does seem to have done the trick.
I've seen words like sublime used for 7G gear changes, which I would struggle to agree with, but the large thuds changing at low speed didn't appear during a short 16 mile journey.
3rd brake light was a wiring short, not the light unit.
