cls55 gearbox issue

evening guys
my 55 amg has started playing up on and off
if i slow to crawling speed it drops to 1st but then wont up shift unless i change gear manually or change the setting via the sports,comfort,manual button then its fine
drove to msl and back no problem but did it again today ?

First thing to check is the ATF level. If that is correct, transmission fault codes need to be investigated with Mercedes Star.
I'd look to find a local Mercedes specialist with Star to check levels , then codes.

had oil level check few weeks ago as it was changed by previous owner late last year so looks like its STAR for codes it is

Had her on the diagnostics today had box software updated but both front speed sensors threw up codes and front bearing (which is due to be changed) confusing the car out which explains its only ever 1st or very low speeds and while or after turning !
keep you posted.
gates belt due in two weeks so front bearings arms discs will all be done at once.
