Gooday. (BAzzle from OZ)
My Oz delivered SLK230 auto 1998 only has the 28 pin round socket under the hood for the diagnostic connection.
I have searched the Net for a Code reader and have only come up with one mentioned on the site linked here http://pages.prodigy.net/jforgione/MB_S500.html
His 3rd menu item http://pages.prodigy.net/jforgione/mb_scnrs.html
seems to be the one to do the job, BUT costs $550 US dollars About $800 Aussie dollars.. wheww..
Doe any one know of an alternative that can be purchased that reads codes from this socket? for a fair price .. maybe similar to the US OBD2 scanners costing $40 US.
Cheers BAzzle
