Coding & convenience closing ??

My MB dealer today did sone coding for me on my vito, I am there alot buying new parts so I have got to know the guys in building my Vito up.
They have updated the data card and things are now working.
However, they did not get the rear camera working, they say it also needs coding?, all I want is the video in put enabling! anyway there doing the data card again for that.
Convenience windows only go down and will not raise the windows, what could that be?

Also the mirrors fold and all work as they should but how do I get the menu up in the cluster for fold on locking and unlocking, do they need to update the IC ?

They have only charge 20 min's to get to this but I feel I have no option but to see the guys at Comand now for the final coding, I just need to insure I have it all wired before I make the 220mile round trip!

One touch close works on both windows and air con re-set closes the windows, but not on the IR, they open no problem there.

I have found I cannot open the doors on the dash switch, only lock the front and back, when, you press the button it locks, locks, no open.

Have you got this sorted out yet Ian ? I seem to remember you were having to swap locks and things over so that you could put the IR door handle on the drivers side door .

Did you have to buy a new lock ??

Nick I have fitted a new handle, cheap enough and swapped the door latch passenger side so the key works now and you don't have to smash the window to get in if the battery is flat! that was a bad day!!!!

Works almost as it should, it will drop the window 6ft away but until I find why I don't get 3 flashes when locking it will never work to close.
I have changed both door controllers and both door latches.
No faults on Star does not help.
I will change the rear door latch just in case.
Just fitted a pair of vanity sun visors with lights and MB harness, all cheap but the sun visors almost £90 each!

Oh right, so did you have to buy a new lock or did you just swap the drivers side to the passenger side ?

Big Un was on about the illuminated sun visors aswell, they can wait on my van for a rainy day LoL the rest is more of a priority right now.

No you need a new latch with a plastic cam for the lock to work, it's just missing from the passenger door.
The handles swap ok.
You could fit the tail gate handle with the key hole.
How you getting on with the part numbers I sent you?

Just sorting the bits out now, the heater is on its way from Germany now i have proof of dispatch now. Have you found the number for the spiral ring yet ? Once i have this i will add it to my order .

Do you have a part number for the latch required for the passenger door ?

Back door wont be an option as eventually will be a bulkhead fitted to divide the compartments up.

On the latch just make sure the code is there FZ8. cross ref epc from what you have.
