Hi all

Ive been looking at the potential to change ht leads and coilpack on my w140 s320. Have looked at coilpacks on ebay but cant seem to find any bosch ones. The ones on ebay are ngk, about £42 each. Eurocarparts are selling coilpacks for around £30 which are described to be ome but the brand is not mentioned.

Just wanted to ask what do you think of the ngks off ebay? Also ht leads are about £35on ebay & ecp again unbranded

Should i but bosch or go for ngk? Problem is i cant find any bosch ones out there & dealership prices are sky high

I don't see an issue with NGK coil pack, but if you are keen on Bosch, are you referring to this item?

Bosch Item Number: 0 221 506 002
Bosch Short Number: 00119
MB OE #: 000 158 75 03

Cheers markjay. The ngks are cheaper. I just wanted to ask if bosch is more suitable for the car. Incidentally i replaced bosch sparkplugs with ngk & the car runs much better

Also would you buy coilpacks off ebay?

As far as spark plugs go, NGK are among the best there is, and in fact NGK Iridium are actually considered an 'upgrade' from Bosch Platinum....

I have no issues with buying off eBay, new or second-hand, as long as the seller has positive feedback and provides a warranty.
