Well, I've not long been home, the weather was awful and it took me longer than expected to get home!.

Thanks firstly to leigh for picking me up and making the purchase such a relaxed affair!

So I'm now the proud owner of Leighs' (EDZ 649) 2001 W210 E55 AMG, in Silver. Its in absolutely lovely condition, and is wearing its 8+ years very well indeed. Ive just been out for a quick spin with the Mrs ( who initially showed her useual lack of interest on my cars ) who is now a fan due soley to the electric seats and especially the heated elements.

Im working tommorrow for a few hours with my German colleague who is a true Mercedes nut, and he is really looking forward to casting his eye over it.

As for pictures, well Ive nicked EDZ649's ones for now, and are all in the album.

Ive sat in the car for 20 minutes once home to connect the IPOD via the jack in the glovebox and it all works very well indeed, and Im quite impressed with the comands sound quality. I dont think Ive sussed the Nav out properly yet as it doesnt want to speak to me or give me directions to anywhere I put in , so time needed to read the manual.

Anyway thank for the nice comments chaps, will post more in coming days, but I think Im going to like this car alot!.
