Hi all,

My facelift W204 Comand was working fine earlier today and then I came out to the car after visiting a friend and it's as though there's no power to the unit.

No screen, no radio, no bluetooth. I've obviously tried the on button but nothing, so looking for some advice on where to start to try and solve the problem.
Is it a simple case of a fuse, or should I be looking somewhere else?

Thanks

Good news, started the car this morning and all working again!
I had read some stuff about a reset of the system being required by removing the relevant fuses or disconnecting the battery for a period, so hopefully it's reset itself over night, will just have to hope it won't become a regular thing.

The electronics of these cars never fail to amaze me! Driving from town the other day my outside temperature gauge changed from 14.5 to 10 and stayed there all afternoon.

I needed to book it into MB anyway, so went to book it in and asked them to check that out. Said, "That's a new one!". So sort of forgot about it until next day...it was all OK again.

And, before anyone suggests it, it wasn't a foible of the Scottish weather!

Had a similar thing with the front screen defrost; sometimes the heat comes out of the front vents instead of the windscreen vents. Usually fiddling with the controls resets it and it becomes good.

Hopefully, it should have thrown some codes which might lead to a fix, though.

Strange beasts at times!
