Had to go visit my son in Wimbledon yesterday (from Uxbridge) - entered 'Wimbledon' as the destination town into the Comand (NTG1.0), OK'd it and then it wouldn't let me enter a street or house number. I'm certain that the NTG2.5 in my last 211 would be OK with an entry like this, so why doesn't the NTG1.0 like it? Tried several other London suburbs, such as Fulham and Hammersmith, with the same result. So, I'm guessing that if I just enter 'London' as the destination town, it'll let me enter a road name and then a house number? It wouldn't be quite so annoying if the damned thing would accept 7 digit postcodes!
