Comand Disc v8

Hi all- have just upgraded my Comand Disc from 2004 to 2007 spec for £40 on ebay. Very happy with this. As well as TMC, I see that the display looks more modern- showing number of satellites, altitude etc.

Just wondered if there were any special/additional features in the 2007 disc that I would find useful?

I got a TMC fitted with a mic and a TMC push button, how do I get it to work.

As it draining the battery I disconnected the power supply to the TMC module located at the passenger footwell.

Will it works if I buy a Comand disc and stick it in a audio 20? Do I have to pay subscription to Traffic Master TMC? Please tell me more.

There was a CD/DVD that was inside the audio 20 when I bought the car and I didn't know what it is I gave it back to the seller, the seller hasn't got a clue what the disc is.

Make sure the "dynamic" option is switched on - otherwise you wont get offered an alternative route if there are hold-ups on your route.

the command is a dvd based system,the audio 20 is cd based,you need to go comand to get the dvd based system.
There is no suscripition costs to the tmc system,im at a loss regarding your post on the tmc module,i assume its a after market unit ?
