After nearly two weeks on/off tinkering trying to get my BB8900 Curve working with the online side of Comand, i've cracked it. So I thought I would share my solution using manual settings:
Provider: O2 Mobile Web
Ph. Number: *99***1#
Access point: mobile.o2.co.uk
User ID: o2web
Password: password
DNS Address: Manual
DNS1: 193.113.200.200
DNS2: 193.113.200.201
As my BB only uses GPRS, its a bit slow but at least it connects
