Is it just me or is there a distinct lack of modern (less than 2 years old) phones supported by MB for use with Comand Online. I have a HTC Sensation and although I can use all the phone functions, I don't seem to be able to get online. It's not important to get online but if it's there I would like to at least have the oppurtunity!
Anyone know if there's a work around?

This has been discussed a few times.

Comand Online utilises Bluetooth Dial Up Networking to connect to the outside world.

Neither Android or IOS support this in their bluetooth stack (although Blackberry and many older phones do) so it's a dead end.

I have a bit of software here for my Android that claims to support this but I have not had chance to try it yet (it's also quite expensive) so will let you know

There is talk of MB updating Comand Online to support a different tethering method that will work with iPhone and Android but it looks like this will be much more than a simple software update so may only be available on new cars.

Ok Mark, thanks for that. And please let me know how or if the software works, cheers, Andy.
