Comand Postcode Navigation issue

It is nothing to do with Germany using a 5 digit postcode, Mercedes have to pay a licence to use the full 7 digit postcode and they don't.
They could easily release a disc with 7 digit postcodes on it, shame they don't.

Not having full postcode is ok if you use your nav occasionally, but when you use it daily and many times a day it becomes a real ball ache.

Yours isn't hard disk, its dvd based...

It is hard disk. Its NTG3 and thats hard disk based but with 5 digit postcodes. the facelifted cars MY2010 have NTG 3.5 with seven digit postcodes.

yes,my clk430 has the same problem i can only get 4 digits in then,it moves onto streets but i always get there in the end.Someone told me it was due to the fact we are the only country with 6 and7 digit postcodes,not sure if this is true.
