After a somewhat expensive day out today, I'm happy to announce that a 3 pointed star will be back on the driveway chez Gaz in the very near future.

The Jasper blue CLK was Jasper. The tellurite silver SL has the rather inappropriate moniker of Tellullah! Doesn't affect the drive though.

Thanks everyone. I'm really looking forward to picking it up, unfortunately I will be out of the country for the rest of the week - boo. Looks like I will have to wait until next Monday.

I'd looked at another one which was very similar but it was somewhat lean on the specs, this one has COMAND, Harmon Kardon upgraded stereo, AirScarf and all those nice bits and pieces. Not that I'm a specification queen - what matters to me is that V8 under the bonnet - but all nice to have.

Once it's in my possesion and scrubbed up I'll try and get a proper set of pictures posted!
