Hi, Sorry new to Mercedes so forgive the ignorant question. I have just bought a C200 (5 years old) and have been using the sat nav with the dvd in the player but want to play a CD too. As I say, ignorant question, but 'how do I do that? I had assumed there was a cd changer in the glove but no.

Help please?

You can do this.

When you programme in a route wait for the spinning Cd icon on the screen to stop. This means that the whole route has been prgrammed in. You can then remove the DVD and listen to a Cd instead. BUT, you will only get directional instructions, no map display.

Alternatively fit an ipod interface or more expensively retrofit a CD changer. Both jobs are quite straightforword.

That's great - ta. Can I ask what you think the cheapest way of getting CD changer fitted is?

Thanks

Yes, get an ipod interface instead!

seriously though a Cd changer is pretty easy to install. Its the parts that cost about double what an ipod interface costs.

I have a sat nav issue, but i am not sure what the problem is?? The sattelite bars are showing "-" in fact everything is (see pic). can anyone hlp. PLEASE.
