Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a 2010 E350 Coupe. I've done a fair bit of reading but just want to check a couple of points - any advice would be much appreciated.

1. Is the COMMAND option just sat-nav? (are there any other extras this option includes and if so what are they?)

2. Can you play audio via iPhone bluetooth through the car? (Do you need any extra options to do this?)

3. (If above is yes) Does it bluetooth audio work with Spotify? (I understand the steering controls won't work with the app).

Many thanks.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had taken a look at this already, but it wasn't totally clear to me. I don't understand what you get without COMMAND, as you still seem to get Bluetooth, the same screen and all the other options - just without Sat nav if you don't have the COMMAND option.

I just don't want to buy a car and find out I'm missing out on something other than just Sat-Nav.

Many thanks

Usually when purchasing Comand it usually comes complete with Media Interface which connects to your phone in the arm rest via a MB Cable, with this (if your phone supports it) which is mostly iPhones do, you can charge you phone and play/Control all tracks, Albums and Playlists via the COMAND Controller.

You Also have MB Sat Nav which once connected to Your Bluetooth, accesses the traffic information, dirvertions etc.

I not really bothered and just want a car with sat nav, Bluetooth and access to music then get a Standard model that has Bluetooth and Bluetooth Media for Streaming music standard any buy the Becker Pilot which is premiered in your boot and simply plugs in (No Sat Nav on Screen).

I Personally have the Comand Online but only has I think it helps hold the Cars Value better

Hey, thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

My Phone is a iPhone 5S so not sure if MB would even have a lightning connector for it yet.

Im not actually bothered about having sat-nav in the car at all (have a good TomTom with lifetime maps and traffic).

I would very much like Bluetooth Audio for music though - I'll take a look for 'Bluetooth Media' although it's a bit tricky as some used car listings aren't exactly clear about whether they have this or not.

Can it be retrofitted? Many thanks.

Hiya there

No, MB don't have the Lightening Connector Cables yet and I'm not sure weather the Converters work, maybe it's a question for someone else on here to answer.

As for Bluetooth Audio, it's standard across the whole MB range as is the Bluetooth telephone Connection on the New Mercedes from 2010 I believe. On the Audio section (at top of the screen) Click on it and it will give the option of Radio, CD etc and it's there. You have to click on the Album/Playlist you want to play on your phone but one on you can change tracks via your Comand wheel.
