hello all

noticed today for the first time (cold mornings now) that my front screen mainly and other windows have a lot of condensation on the inside (drops of it). checked for wet floor roof/seals and everything but no sign of seepage. could it be to do with a/c? any advice please

I have the same and no a/c on mine ....

Mine is mainly on the rear screen ... no damp inside either ...

I get this too along with a slightly damp feeling seatbelt.

It's because the inside of your car is warmer than the outside, and The air inside is moist.

It's called T.H.E.R.M.O.D.Y.N.A.M.I.C.S. and it happens in C.O.L.D. W.E.A.T.H.E.R

P.u.n.k.s. ;) :d

Sorry. Feeling a bit obstreperous.

Spent the evening defining and discussing the subtle differences and nuances in taste and texture between Theakston's Old Peculiar and Brakspear's Triple.

:) :)

Conclusion:

Yum!

I had this on an old Peugeot of mine, I was told when parking in the garage to leave the windows open a crack for a few weeks and if hat doesn't fix it then pop in a dehumidifier overnight, it never misted up again.

I leave the windows open a crack whenever the 500 is in the garage and never get this problem.

Dave!

Mine actually mists up with the aircon on, if more than three living breathing people are on board.
And no, it's not a Hear5e.

Nanny Gripe: the bulletin board will not let me type in the word H.e.a.r.s.e. without putting asterisks in after the He, so: He****

I hope eveyone will now report this post as offensive because in this instance, the asterisks really are!!!!

Would you BELLEEEVE IT!?

Yeah, I do too......Real anoying!!!

But I've seemed to have rectified the problem (as stated below) by leaving the Sunroof open about half an inch. Even if it rains water doesn't seem to get into the car (good design, like the rest of the car) which is a bonus. :)

Cheers, Bill.

Might be water in the air vents. Engine still warm, water evaporates, condenses on the interior.

Check any drain points on the car, leaves blocking vents etc.
