Connection of OBD2 port to a pc....

Hi again, i would like to install a car pc, the Centrafuse GUI have a plug in for OBD2, read all sensors information, read fault codes and reset them. What i want to know is where can i buy only the cable to connect the OBD2 plug im my 97 C180 to the PC. And also, what is the protocols that work with our cars, i read somewhere its ISO, but in Centrafuse ask me if the device is ELM, have a few options with ELM versions...

Any help with this is appreciated..

All OBD 2 cars work on Keyword 2000 with CAN-A. CAN-B, CAN-C, CAN-D and K-Line. It just depends on the car.
