Coolant Leak

I had a minor leak that turned out to be coolant running down looking like thin oil but not marking the driveway.
I replaced the thermostat and "plastic top half" result, no leak.
Cost under £20 using MB parts.

Have had a small loss of water since i have had the car, about a pint every 6 or so weeks,have replaced the thermostat, after it boiling and thought it might cure it but today the light came on and i had to put about a pint in and you could watch it disappear so iended up putting quite a lot more in, just don't know where it goes.
