Hi just wondering how much my car would of cost new. It's a 2001 CLK 320 Avantgarde.

On the log book?? Never seen the price of a car new on a V5, I have the original bill of sale from MB the guy I bought the car from bought it new and kept every receipt, even fuel...slightly OCD!

I have sent my V5 off to the DVLA, as I'm transferring a number plate. I'll confirm back to you when I receive it. Hopefully in the next few weeks....I was surprised it was there too!

I've lots of V5Cs; none of them have the price of the car on them.

I wish I had it available to send you all a picture! I was also surprised, as I'd never had it on any of my other V5's. I'll get a pic over as soon as it arrives! Hopefully the DVLA won't have removed it, otherwise I'm gonna look like a right tw@t!
