E350 or E250

Not sure about that. ๐Ÿค”
Nor me ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ . Please find out , I'm at work here .

I guess old stock oil coolers already on engines ,didn't get the purple ones. But went out on 2010/2011/2012 motors ??

Only if you ask the dealership that serviced it, and only if it was done at a dealer......
MJ, does only the 'required service' work get uploaded to the Digital Service Book, or does all work get uploaded to the DBS?

I only use Mercedes independent specialists who upload to the DBS, so I'm wondering if they would have uploaded that work for the oil cooler seals to the record (I have the receipt of course) along with the service and MOT they did at the time? Would it also show e.g. the non-service subframe replacement that Merc themselves did?

Only going off my experience with my C207. Registered Nov 2011. Needed new oil seals. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคช
Bloke on here with a 2012 , orange seals ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

Only services and scheduled service items are recorded in the DSB, but not repairs (there may be an odd record for a repair here and there, but it's not the common practice). So repairs or things like brake discs or battery etc won't show on the DSB.

And, you'll typically only be able to get this info from a dealership if they are part of the same dealer network that carried out the repairs.

I suggest that you insist on seeing the printout with your own eyes before signing on the dotted line (even if buying an Approved Used car from a main dealer). Sadly, it seems that 'full MB Service history' can mean different things to different people.... caveat emptor.
Thanks, there were quite a lot of MB print outs detailing work carried out to date, but unfortunately at that stage I wasn't aware of the oil cooler seal issue and there is no mention of it anywhere.

Don't worry about it , just enjoy the car. It may never leak in your time of ownership. ๐Ÿ‘

Quick question..if it the oil coolant seal did go, what would the symptoms be?
Nothing at first, until the plastic under tray fills with oil. Then it starts overflowing. Leaving a mess wherever you park.
( My Sister went mad when I parked on her drive) I was easily losing a litre of oil or more a week. Until I got it done. Cost ยฃ1,300 ๐Ÿคช My advice just regularly check your oil. Hopefully yours will be OK. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘
