Thanks Stumpy for selling me your brand new Bentley car cover.

My new (old) 350SE wont go through my drive as its too wide :wallbash:. The plan was to keep the W116 in in my 29Ft garage however gettting to the garage through my drive is impossible unless I hack off the soil pipes at the side of my house

So for now the car is outside protected by this cover :thumb:

This might be the answer?

yup its a nice costume!

The Offside mirror fits perfectly. The other side well, I do have a van gogh. The Bentley logo on the front is discrete.

Cant you re-route the soil pipe along the side of the building above car height? or get a macerator and then you can fit a smaller soil pipe?

You could always replace your downpipe with layflat hose ?

Actually I have a better idea.
I could look after it for you I have enough dry storage at my farm.
When can I come and collect it?:)

Alex.

Can you get the car past if you remove one of the mirrors?

perfectly legal to drive with 2 out of 3 mirrors.. might be a solution until you sort out some storage?

If there is enough room except for the down-pipe maybe installing a removable section would be an option.
If it's a rainwater downright it's easy, if the main soil stack it's less convenient.
It can be cut through near ground level and a socket added, or even lifted out of the underground pipe, then add a removable section let in with a slip joint higher up.

Not very convenient for regular use, but worth considering for Winter storage access.

Perfect fit that cover, I see what you mean about the bentley logo very descrete indeed. I take it you managed to get the antenna to come down.
