Creaking rear suspension

Right chaps before I take the wheel off etc any ideas what could be happening here
E320 W211, Drivers side rear suspension, when opening the door, self leveling sospension starts , and creaks badly. Driving through a multi story with my window down suspension was also creaking badly. Bounce the rear quarter up and down and nothing!!

Do you have airmatic suspension then? Otherwise I would have had a stab at worn bushes or a broken spring

broken spring seems likely, wheel off tomorrow then.
