Just a quick heads up for D:Class in Woking who do trim, convertible roofs etc.

Took my car there yesterday to get the passenger sear re-stuffed (although apparently that's what they're like when they're new - damn uncomfortable then).

David and his team are very pleasant, decent and knowledgeable, their work is excellent and a big thumbs up from me :thumb:

That's all folks! Just wanted to pass on a reccommendation for those out there with trim issues...

Never heard a bad word said about D-Class, just the opposite in fact. Pal of mine in the trade (who's very fussy) regularly transports cars from the Midlands to Surrey for Dave to do his interior trim. Speaks very highly of him.

Lot's of +'s from me aswell. David's new premises are fantastic

Ditto, did my perspex panels a couple of weeks back, excellent job, nice people

Ive used Dave for trim work since my first CLK which was nearly 10 years ago, top job everytime. They used to do a lot of work for MB Woking.

They really are a top quality outfit aren't they. Seat was re-stuffed and it's excellent quality work. Will now always use Dave as you all say - top chap and very evident from the cars in there that people trusy him with some seriously nice kit. There was even a new roller!

Davis Brother has a body workshop out the back of D- Class. H:D h e refurbed my wheels. £50 a corner and refinished my front and rear bumpers and rear quarter.

I was 100% Happy. And no VAT.

make that 120% Happy.

Customs will like reading that ;)

*cough* I think he meant he was given a discount that was equal to having no VAT on the price.

Oh , i see , i must have misunderstood ;)

Move along customs man , nothing to see here .....

David would like to say thank you all your comments and is glad people are happy with the service they receive from d:class

I Barry (Dave's brother) would also like to thank Mr Nicey for his comments and would also like to point out that customs have nothing to look at as David and I share a workshop to offer customers interior and exterior work but do so as two different companies, and at this point in time Multi-Tech Car Care is not vat registered saving you the dreaded 20%......

Barry, welcome, I think the h m r c thing was tongue-in-cheek !!!!

I emailed David today about some 129 seats. May also want to talk to you about a repaint of two replacement wings and some wheels to refurb as I am just around the corner (literally). Do you have an email address?

Yes , firmly tongue in cheek. :)

Another thumbs up for D:Class from me - they did the alcantara headlining in my C63 and the finish was....factory. I'm sure if you put them side by side with a car that had the headlining done at the factory you could not tell the difference.

Just beware though - if you do the same then be prepared for a very strong smell of glue for a couple of weeks after. My advice is to give them longer than the 3 days I gave them so they can keep the freshly glued headlining out of the car for longer to allow the smell to dissipate more before it goes back in the car.

Yes d:class are to be very highly recommended. Dave did the full nappa retrim to my C class. Check out my album.. OK the colour combo my not be to everyone's liking but you cannot fault the workmanship :thumb:
