I've got DAB as well, there is a window ant. but that is your worst option, OK if your in a strong signal area, best to go for the standard body connected type, I had one that was combined into the FM ant. aswell and amplified about £50 not bad, I'm in quite a low DAB area Blackpool.
that looks a good bit of kit
on the top of my ml there is a small dumpy aerial
behind the radio is a wire which i think comes from it but it looks like a sat nav connection suppose i could use that hole just pulling the wires through that worries me
im never going to use the sat nav aerial

When I changed the ant. on my previous car, Mondeo, with the DAB/FM ant. I had to increase the hole on the roof
Not everone will be that dearing or daft
I did of course put plenty of paint and grease on it.

Also I might try this, as Im not to keen to drill a hole in my lovely roof

Anyone got one? Are they any good?
I've got a 'normal' roof aerial, are the special dab aerials any better?

In case anybody is interested I've recently bought a Sony CDX-DAB6650, together with an Autoleads PC6-536 amplified splitter connected to my existing FM roof aerial.
The DAB signal around this area isn't hugely strong, but this combination seems to work faultlessly. Recommended.
