Dashcams

All the dashcams I have used simply save content to a micro SD card that I can open on just about any platform. If you are an Apple user, video is one of the few areas where I concede it has the advantage over a PC.

The dashcam I currently use was less than £50. Techmoan - Techmoan - SJ1000 - At last...a good cheap action camera

I like the look of that. I assume in parking mode I would need to keep it powered? There is no onboard battery?

Indeed you would, and to be honest, i'm too lazy to bother wiring it up properly to benefit from that function!
