E250 CDI AVANTGARDE BLUE EFF
Hi
I have just swopped my 350slk for a E class 250cdi avantgarde blue efficiency and it has day running lights that i don't know how to turn on or off, anyone help an idiot out? lol, must say i love the car and its economy compared to the slk.

Depending on the year of manufacture they may be a legal requirement and unable to be turned off. If you can, it'll be in the settings altered by the steering wheel buttons. Best check the handbook.

Hi Merc owner 2B
The car is a 2009 59 with bi xenons ,i can't seem to get them to work at all !!,am i really this stupid???
regards

Do you have a manual? If not check out the MB website and select SUPPORT from the list across the top of the screen and there you'll find the interactive manuals

If it's the same as the S, then go to "Settings" on the computer menu, and run through to DRL. Choice is on or off.

PS: You can only switch them on when the engine is switched off.

Anybody retro-fitted DRL's

I find DRL's to be a great aid to visibility; no wonder they are now a requirement. Anyone fitted aftermarket ones to an older vehicle? I am thinking of getting some for my 2008 E Class. I think fitting will be a job for an auto electrician...
