I notice diesel leaking down the front of the engine today. Is it likely just from the leaky inj seal or more likely from pipes etc. I just want to decide to leave it until i do the seals or should i be checking the pipes ? Thanks

Near the hp-pump? Pipe o-rings or hp-pump... Dry it, start the engine and try figure out the source.

Not sure where its coming from, i would guess its a leaky pipe. i dont think its possible to be neat diesel getting up from cylinders. Its impossible to see anyway until i tear its top off. I think maybe i'll just do that, clean it and hope it shows up before too long.

If the nozzle holder cap is broken (a few reported), it may leak diesel on the engine. But most likely a brittle hose, o-ring or plastic clamp...

Well thats sorted out. The valve on the injector was a little loose. Where the injector pipe screws on to. Sadly i hear another chuff chuff chuff coming on.
