Do Mercedes Provide Info On Classic Cars

Does anyone know if Merc UK will provide any info on my car? It's a 1981 W126 and thought to be possibly the earliest one left in the UK. Was wondering if there is a number where I can contact the manufacturer to check whether it was one of the first manufactured/registered for the UK? Anyone got any ideas?
