Does your car have a name?

The Silver Car...and The Big Blue Car. Cos it's bigger than the silver car and also blue.

And her VW Fox is the Tesco Express.

Mrs TDE1 has rubbed off on me, so I just have the black one and the blue one.

Make of that what you will.

A mate of mine called my old bright red c180 'the baron' don't know why, but it kind of stuck. Don't really bother naming them myself.

My old Opel had the reg BDT ***T (forgot the number).... we used to call it the Big Dirty Tapper.. BDT!... until I fixed the tappets.

My late father always referred to my old s211 as the 'the Messerschmitt'
My winter hack Pajero is called 'the battlebus' and Mrs Camerafodder's IQ we call 'the toad'. :D

I have named my Smart - The Fart car... much to the annoyance of Mrs Sp!ke

Toyota has the nickname Killdozer. Nothing for the SL, beyond an increase in swear words recently.

Ahh ok - so I do have names for the other half's car in that case.

I used to call her Jazz a Jizz and now call her Juke a Puke - also much to her annoyance I recently found out (because they are not nice names apparently).

Incidentally, she refers to them as what they are.

As yet I have not 'named' my recently acquired E240 Estate however since the purchase my workmates are referring to me as Jonah as in Jonah and the Whale.

(they're just jealous)

My Mercedes is George
My Range Rover is Peppa
Wifes Focus is Freddie
Triumph is Libby

All named by my 6 and 7 year old daughters!

Some good names!

BTW, I consider 'Malcolm' to be a rather nice name, suggesting quiet strength without too much brashness and showy-ness. Your parents named you well.

What is that? Seriously, I don't know.
