Dome light W203

Hi all

Got a prob with me Dome Lights, will not come on at all. Checked fuses ok. Any ideas

Obviously don't know how familiar you are with these cars, or how long you've owned it, and not sure what you mean by dome lights. If you're referring to the interior lights, wait until darkness and try them again. They don't illuminate in daylight when set to auto. They have a daylight sensor in the circuit.

I tried it at night but still nothing, the three way switch in overhead unit should be : on/off/auto.
Tried all positions but no joy.

According to the fuse chart, there are two fuses for the dome lights. Numbers 3 & 9 which are both located in the boot fusebox.

Do the reading lights not work either or is it just the main light?

The lights that are not working are as follows:
Courtersy lights (front & rear)
Map lights
Mirror vanity lights
Puddle lights at bottom of doors

Checked all bulbs & fuses, all OK. Is they a relay that may control them

Don't think there is a relay. Quite possible it's a fault with the rear CANBUS, but get it checked by an auto electrician, before replacing it.
