door shut sensor w203 c class

hi

missus trapped the seatbelt in the drivers door and destroyed the door closed sensor. how easy is this to replace? cant figure out how to get the trim off on th inside. i guess this needs to come of to change the sensor?

anyone know where i can find a part number for the sensor?

Forget that part, I just entered that MB part number in the EPC and that switch is the one for the "hand"Brake

By the way you don't have to access the inside of the B pillar to take it off, looking at the pictures of the link I gave you, you can see a white bracket that acts as a spring to hold the part. In the second picture you can see a small gap in the front of the switch (you should see it in the one installed in your car), just insert a suitable screw driver in there to pry down that lever until you can take out the switch.
