I am very interested to see it in the dash. Though a w203 is a lot different from a w211. so the track and audio controls may not work for me

Ok, here's the install, not quiet as smooth as a COMAND unit but it does so much more... and the speakers are now alive

If you were thinking of buying the comand for your car, I dont think it's compatible with a pre face lift W203.
The one Deker has is only compatible with a face lift model manufatured around April 2004 onwards.

You require a comand 2.0E for your model.
